I've got some pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes. They had a blast and ended up with WAY too much candy. We do trunk-or-treating at the church but there are so many more adults than children (and the adults want to unload all of their candy) so there is an abundance of sugar being handed around. We had a simple but yummy potluck. We had soups (stews & chilis) and salads (green, jello, fruit) and some rolls. It was fun to try everyone's creations. Josh made another winner of a chili - it got rave reviews. I made a simple apple salad with chopped apples, vanilla yogurt, craisins, and toasted coconut. It was pretty yummy for all it's simplicity. Oh, and I also made a boatload of caramel corn. Josh volunteered me to make some. Josh thought we would need a bunch - so I made 4 batches. We have about 1/2 of it leftover. Come over and eat it, please. :-)
"Laura Ingalls" or
"The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" - you decide.

I tried to get Josh to wear a barrel for his costume. He said he wanted to be able to sit down. :-) I thought it would have been hilarious!
