I Voted....Did You?

I voted and I'm so glad that this election year can finally be over!!!

Josh and I took goodies to the person in our ward who spear-headed the Prop 8 campaign organization for our town. She's been working really hard. I should have included bubble bath. I'm sure she could use a long vacation now!

Today for homeschool we learned about elections and voting. It's amazing how much kids pick up from listening to us talk...and how much they don't! We talked about how we are so blessed to live in a country with freedom and choices. No tyrannies for me, thank you very much!

Logan's been practicing writing his numbers and letters. He knows them all (mostly all facing the right direction) - we want better muscle control. Today he wrote all his numbers up to 100. Yesterday it was the alphabet that he wrote once for me, and once for Dad. We had a beginning reading lesson, too. I'm starting our official reading program with him to see if he's ready. Whenever I am reading something to him, he pays close attention to the words and tries to figure out which word is the one I'm reading. Sounds pretty ready to me!

Happy Election Day!

John and I voted almost two weeks ago! Although almost everthing we voted on turned out the wrong way. Oh well, some years are like that and you can't stop others from being dumb. Can you believe that Prop 8 is passing? I am in shock! Hooray!!! Hooray!!!
