Brynne started school today! She missed the first week and apparently got "dropped". Here's what's strange about that to me. We notified the school when we registered her that she would miss the first week. I watched the nice office lady write it down.
We did not register Hannah at the middle school.
While we were camping Josh got about 6 calls on his cell phone from the middle school wondering where Hannah was. Dana Gray figured they'd just drop Brynne. Doesn't that seem backwards?
So Josh took her to school this morning and got her straightened out. She is in Mrs. Scott's class - which is actually one of the teachers that she really liked but we didn't request. Her friend Natalie is her seatmate. She was a very happy girl when I picked her up. As we wandered around the school two other teachers came up and gave her hugs and stopped to say nice things to her - and tell me they wished she could be in their class. It was cute. What a great start to the year!
