Rotation

Logan lost his third tooth! It's been dangling by a thread for quite awhile. I finally got a good grip and yanked it out for him. He didn't feel a thing!
We rearranged furniture a bit...again. But there was a really good reason. Josh and I have both been wanting to move the computer out of the office and into a main living area. Upstairs was just not an option, which left our living room. There were some obstacles such as wall-space needed and lack of internet hook-ups. We've got our computer set up with wi-fi now. The modem is tucked safely on a shelf in the old office and the computer is happily ensconced in our dining room.Kenna has her own room now, in the old office.
Hannah and Brynne are out of our big bedroom and sharing the room across the hall.
The family room is, well, a family/school room again.
Logan is sharing with Natalie, in Natalie's original room under the stairs.
I have been loving having the computer in the dining room. Not only can I keep better tabs on the kids during their computer usage, I can more easily cook with recipes stored on the computer, listen to conference talks while I do kitchen work, and check my email while Natalie has a snack in her high chair. All things that I couldn't do before! We've mostly got the house put back together, except for the messes that were made by the little girls while we all worked to move belongings around.

Oh! And I've started making an effort to potty-train Kenna. I decided to spend the week putting in a conscientious effort since I'm not going ANYWHERE without Hannah (yes! She's at Girls Camp right now!!!). Yesterday we had three successes and only one accident. One of those successes was completely Kenna's own - I didn't suggest she go potty. My strategy this time is to carry a timer around and every 20 minutes I ask her to sit on the toilet. Hopefully she's on board with this and I can get one of the two out of diapers. Wouldn't that be something!
On Sunday Kenna accompanied me into the bathroom while we took another little girl to the toilet. When Kristin was successful in her venture, Kenna clapped and told her, "Yay! You're a big girl Kristin!" I thought maybe she'd be motivated after seeing her friend go potty. ;-)

Love the new arrangement. That seems like a great place for the computer!

Yay for Kenna's potty-training. Asher's taking the week off 'cause we have company and too many places to go. The hardest part isn't the accidents with him, it's that we still need to go places and he has naptimes that mean I have to put him back in diapers for much of the day. He has the "holding it" part down, too. This is going to be a slow processs.
