Autumn Art

When I came back from Oregon last week I snuck a bag of fallen leaves into the car.  They were so gorgeous - bright red! - and we don't have anything like that in Fort Bragg.  I was excited to show the kids.

Of course, they couldn't just sit around.  I scattered a few handfuls around the backyard to enjoy from my kitchen window.  Silly, I know.  But I do love fall and miss those vibrant colors so much!

The rest were handed over to the kids for an art project.  It was fun to watch the kids get their creative juices flowing.  Even Kenna and Natalie got in on the act.  Kenna actually made some pictures, but Natalie spent the entire time trying to "paint" the table with the glue.  Every time I would take it away from her, the sneaky little munchkin would find a way to steal someone else's glue when they weren't watching.
