Skyler's Birthday

 We had Skyler to dinner and took the opportunity to celebrate his 18th birthday (surprise!).

Funny story...
We haven't seen Skyler since before Christmas, so there was plenty of catching up to do during dinner.  Kenna was watching everyone else talking and sharing news and I guess she felt that she had to get in on the action.  She leaned over to Skyler and very politely told him, "Skyler, I wear underwear now".  His reply was just what she was looking for - he commented on what a big girl she was.  All my kids love Skyler, and I must confess that Josh and I enjoy his company, too.  What a great kid.

I didn't have 18 candles, so we put four big ones on Skyler's cake.  He did an awesome job of blowing them all out.  ;-)
