Week in Review

It's been a busy week.   Exhausting, really.

We studied animals for science.  That involved making animals out of salt dough, baking them, and painting them the following day.

We played outside, and at the beach with our friends.  We tried to go swimming at the pool but there were...uhhhh...complications.

We're looking forward to another fun week.  If it's sunny enough we're going to paint our new chicken coop that we inherited!

I have to include these pictures of Natalie actually smiling.  This is how she looks when I don't have a camera out.  Usually as soon as I take out the camera she sobers up.

Today I was calling for Kenna and I heard this little voice answer, "what?" repeatedly.  Finally Natalie came running out from around the corner.  She was the one answering me.  She's been talking so much more.  It's really hard to understand, but if I pay really close attention, she's actually communicating quite a bit.  She asks for things and comments on what's going on.  I love these early talking years.
