You've Had a Birthday

This year Logan had his first ever birthday party.

We tried to surprise him.  It mostly worked out.  

He loved it.

We had a Star Wars theme, so

Josh helped the kids make light sabers.

That was a very popular activity, as you can see below:

He opted for a Darth Maul version - this is before the cool duct tape was added.

Can you tell those are crossed light sabers?  Tricky cake to make, and I had to do it
FAST after Logan went to bed the night before.                                                                                          

The food included "Wookie Snacks".

As well as 'yoda soda' - which was a big hit.

Logan wanted his friends A. and I. to join the party.
They love Logan, but they idolize the big girls.

Meet R.,  Logan's bud.  He is 12.  He is as tall as Josh.
But they have a grand time together.

Happy Birthday to the cutest little boy in our family.  He's such an awesome kid to have around.
