Birthday Girl

So Kenna celebrated her 2nd Birthday this week. She was so cute! Aside from the fact that she decided ON HER BIRTHDAY to start saying "NO" to everything question I ask her...she is still a lot of fun to have around.

First, Logan and Hannah had to give the girls a ride in the laundry basket. It was a new experience for them and was very well received.

I think she wants her cake!

Candles! Fire!

Kenna was very careful when she took out the tissue paper. She laid it carefully on the floor and smoothed it out so it looked nice. Before getting another piece and doing the same thing.

She loves her baby stroller! She is so CUTE pushing it around and rearranging her baby.

-Thanks for all the comments about my disastrous Sunday. It's a challenge every week, but last week was the worst so far.

The big trouble seems to be dealing with both children at once. Natalie has always been clingy. She's just now starting to go to people when she's in a good mood. But at Church she's tired and doesn't want to go to others. She wants me to nurse her while she falls asleep. She doesn't even want Hannah or Brynne to hold her, and she definitely doesn't want to play.

Kenna is just a force to be reckoned with. She would be quite happy if I let her roam the chapel "visiting" everyone. She gets mad when I won't! I have a rule that if I take the kids out to the foyer, they have to sit on my lap. But have you ever tried to hold a fighting mad 2 year old AND a baby at the same time? Impossible. Can't be done. Passing off Natalie induces tears. Putting Kenna down means no lesson learned. It's a lose, lose situation. The good news is, as soon as Sacrament Meeting is over Kenna is a happy girl again! She and Natalie both love nursery!

Maybe I'll try a form of bribery? Like special snacks ONLY for Sunday that will keep Kenna occupied.

In the meantime, I guess the foyer and I will become very well-acquainted.

How about special snacks for the ward member who takes Kenna? :) I'll be there ASAP if you do that.

I love the picture of Kenna where she looks like she is saying "BAH! I Want Cake!" Hilarious!
