Little Girl Check-Ups

Both Kenna and Natalie had check-ups this week.

Natalie is 9 months! She weighs 16 lbs and is 24 inches tall. She didn't have to get any shots this month - what a treat!

Kenna got two shots...bummer for her. She is 32 inches tall. She weighs 22 lbs. She has gained almost no weight in the past year and went from the 50% to the 5%. So of course the doctor wants to know why. Could be that is just normal for her (Logan did something similar his first year of life and freaked the doctor out). But aside from that, she is also mildly anemic. So she's on iron supplements and we'll go back and check her hemoglobin and weight in a month. I noticed the past month that she's eating less, and seemed more cranky. I don't think she's starving to death - the doctor said that she doesn't show any signs of being malnourished - just that she's not taking in enough calories for all the constant running around she does! I think she and I need to switch lifestyles! Apparently crankiness can be a general sign of iron deficiency so maybe when her iron is up her mood will improve!

So that's what's up with the littles. They've been starting to play together a bit and it's SO adorable to watch!

That would be nice if you can fix her crankiness... I want to fix Asher's too.:-)
