Every Sunday the kids give us their "Sunday Report" on what they remember from their lessons. I love having a quiet moment to sit with each child and hear what they picked up on during the 3 hour block. Sometimes it isn't much, but often I am surprised and pleased with what they learned.
Today the older girls had a lesson on Testimonies in their Valiant class. A lesson that appears to have been given quite well because it was very memorable. And as part of their Sunday Report, both girls shared a special testimony that they know they have. And I feel blessed to know that they are learning the Gospel and the things they hear are making an impact on them.
Today I read a heart-warming article in a Christian homeschool journal that I read occasionally.
If you would like to read a short reminder of how God loves and cares - and how we can be instruments in His hands, read Real Life, Real Trust.
I felt it went along with the lesson on testimonies - because both have to do with recognizing promptings by the Holy Ghost.
