Sunday Moment

Yesterday I woke up and had some sort of a pinched nerve in my neck/shoulders. Torture. I spent all day (we went to the Temple) in pain. This morning when I woke up it felt somewhat better, but still there. It made it difficult to pick up small children and do basic things without wincing.

After we got to Church I realized that, while not completely better, I seemed to have regained quite a bit of pain-free movement in my arms and neck. I later found out that Logan had decided to fast for me this morning.

I was so touched that he would make such a selfless gesture of love for me. This tiny little boy who, to my knowledge, has never really fasted before. What a great example of love and faith he showed me this morning. Because honestly, it never even occurred to me to pray for relief. I was just toughing it out (yeah, I'm prideful like that). Good thing I have a better example in Logan!

It's so humbling when your children are the example. You are such a good mom! That is something that he learned by watching his parents! What a proud mom moment!

Such a sweet, thoughtful child!

The other night, Brennan told me, "at night time when I'm in bed and I want to talk, I can talk to Jesus." I love the sweet testimonies of children.
