Weekend Wedding!!

Hannah, Brynne and I are back from the wedding!  Wow!  What a crazy week.


We left Josh and the three little ones behind (bummer) on Thursday.

We spent all day Friday decorating and running errands for Mom.

We also had dinner at the Parmenter's house (that's Devon's new family!) that night and got to meet a bunch of Ben's family.   Nice, nice people.  Devon's marrying well.

Saturday was the wedding!

Even though it was a rainy day in general, the sun managed to peek out from behind a cloud while we took pictures.  

It's official!

Brynne was in charge of our camera.  She snapped about a million pictures of her cousin Jackie!

The reception was later that evening and it turned out so nice.  No pictures of that, but we had a good time - even though it turned into a late night with all the cleaning we had to do.  I hate Saturday night receptions because you HAVE to have the building clean for Church on Sunday.  My mom hates them too, but that's how it had to be this time!  We survived.


The girls and I drove home today (Sunday).  It rained on us almost the whole way.  We hit a tiny bit of snow on the CA/OR border.

All this driving makes me thirsty!

When we got to the coast the sky had cleared (for a few hours) and we were welcomed home with gorgeous rays of warm sunshine on us.  It felt fantastic.

  Brynne requested the windows of the car to be down because, "it smells so nice at the ocean".

Josh survived his weekend with the kids...getting a taste of my life...screeching two- and three- year olds, a house that won't stay clean, and everything else!  He did a fantastic job..and the house was even clean when I got home.  That's always a nice treat!
