Shannon, in answer to your question: because of the heat, most everything closes down from 1-3 more or less. In high-tourist areas things will stay open, but it's rare for restaurants to be open. Most people nap then, and stay out until 11pm. Dinner is commonly not eaten until 8 or 9.
T weoday visited the cute town of Ronda. They have a cool bridge spanning a gorge that connects the two sides of town, built in 1756. We did that in the morning, with a picnic lunch that we brought. We had managed to find peanut butter for sandwiches! Ham-flavored chips, peach juice, and peaches made up the rest of our lunch. Interesting, I know. Oh! And a Bollycao for dessert.
We are exhausted so we rested and/or swam this afternoon. Dinner tonight is sponsored by Jones and is meant to give us some of the flavor of Spain.
