A Proper Vacation Post

I think the week we spent in Oregon was one of our most favorite family vacations - perhaps only second to Disneyland.

We started the week with a couple days visiting our Millar friends in Oregon.  They took us swimming.  The kids played with the goats and the chickens.  And we just had a wonderful time.

Then we joined up with the rest of our Templeman family in Sunriver, Oregon.  Awesome!!

On the way to Sunriver we swung by Crater Lake.  Even though Josh and I lived only an hour from Crater Lake for four years, we somehow never made it up there.

Our kids had a fantastic time playing with cousins, bike-riding, going in the hot-tub, swimming, hiking, and enjoying a BBQ with two sets of grandparents.  I think the general consensus was that we should definitely do it again!

Our trip home was fairly uneventful, except that Kenna threw up more than usual.  We ended up stopping at WalMart in Redding and buying two new carseats.  One to replace the nasty one that Kenna had been sitting in (which was old and worn out anyway) and one to replace the new (but cheap and uncomfortable) one that Natalie wouldn't sleep in.  The girls were much happier after that.

We were able to have dinner with their Richardson grandparents, making the week a lovely grandparent-filled week!

Now we are home and BUSY as can be with school, soccer, Young Womens, and other things.

Waiiiit, did you buy a graco nautilus? I totally just ordered one for Asher like 3 days ago (so it's not here yet.) How do you like yours if that's in fact what you got?
