Well, we went on our first bike ride today with everyone. It was fun! Exciting! Totally exhausting because I am so out of shape and not used to hauling a bunch of stuff around behind my bike! But like I said, it was great fun. We just did a quick trip to the library. I think it takes 5 minutes by car, and about 10 minutes by bike. So not too bad. One of the major benefits to living in a small town - in the middle of a small town. When we get a little stronger (uh, just me) and finesse our bicycling skills, I can think of some fun places to ride - like to the beach!
Well, Natalie is so much better today. Her croup is almost gone, but she is still really drained and tired and easily worn out. Still, it was nice not to listen to that wheezy barking all night long. She and I both got a great amount of sleep. And she slept for 6 hours yesterday! It was the only way I could have made it through my cake decorating activity, so I guess it was a blessing to have her a little sick.
Cake decorating was a blast. That frosting makes me sick - blech - but actually decorating was fun. The girls had a great time. We had a couple extra cakes. I had the girls decorate them and we shared them with a couple families in our ward. Fun stuff. The missionaries were at my house from 10:30am until 4pm working on this project. But since we had a less-active girl come and an investigator girl I think they can chalk it up to both service and fellow-shipping.
Our first camping trip of the season is this weekend. Looking forward to it. The weather is supposed to be gorgeous everywhere - even at the coast. So if you want to go to the beach, apparently this is the weekend to do it!
